Growing Together To Be Our Best

Retirement Party

Mrs Meyrick and Mrs Webber are both retireing at the end of term and so we threw them a small party before all the Christmas concerts etc made it impossible. We had a lovely tea party with many old friends, governors and current staff at hand. The choir sang some lovely songs too.

Mrs Meyrick has been the deputy head teacher for several years and has been a great support for Miss Allen.

Mrs Webber is our school secretary and tells us that when she first started as a clerk over 21 years ago it was just for 3 mornings a week. Of course she was Mrs Randall then but married our old caretaker and school crossing patrol man Mr Randall. Both had made a huge contribution to the school and Mrs Webber has long been know as the youngest member of staff always first to take part in any activity especially on Venture week.

Both will be sorely missed but rather than concentrate how sad we are that they are leaving we all agree that they deserve a great retirement which is going to be extremely busy but lots of fun. We all wish you lots of hapiness.
