MUSIC THROUGH THE AGES
During the first half of the Summer Term we will be looking at Music through the Ages. We will look a variety of music genres and use our expressive arts skills to create our own music to perform.
CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS
We listened to Carnival of the Animals and used this to inspire us to create our own hybrid animals and compose music to reflect them.

In Literacy we have been looking at lyrics and rhyming words and how we can manipulate language to express ourselves. We used what we had learnt to create a class rap.

LETTERS TO PALM OIL COMPANIES
After finding out all about deforestation and the impact of Palm Oil farming on the Orangutan population we wrote to Palm Oil companies to ask them to look at sustainable alternatives.
RAINFOREST DOCUMENTARY
After learning about the rainforest, we planned and created documentaries to share our knowledge with the world. Watch this wonderful documentary about the Amazon Rainforest created by Ava Lima.
