Food For Thought: Can We Feed The World?
As part of our EcoExpo topic, we have been looking at what causes people to not have enough food to eat and what things we can do to help. As a result of food waste surveys that families kindly completed at home, the class researched some recipes to see how the most frequently thrown out foods could otherwise be used.
A selection of recipes have been put together in a 'booklet'. Hopefully they will inspire you, provide some ideas and food for thought!

In the Autumn term we learnt about the River Ely as part of our CF5 topic. We labelled features of a river, researched facts about the River Ely, made our own river environment and explained what the features do and made Top Trumps cards about not just the River Ely but also other rivers in Wales. We were also disappointed to see lots of rubbish in the river which inspired to look after our own area so we did a litter pick in Trelai Park!
