As a school one of the most important lessons we strive to teach our pupils is responsibility. This goes on in many ways including the environment. Explorer and Environmentalist Robert Swan OBE says “The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it”. Picking up a single bag of litter in under 15 minutes is not going to change the world. But importantly the pupils suggested it and gave up their own lunch hour to do it. They have lots of ideas about posters and ways to highlight that they have finally got a bin put up at the junction of the lane and Clarke Street after 3 years campaigning. It's tucked inside so not many people know its there yet but we want to see more people using it/
