Stars of the week.

We have been cleaning our teeth in school and learning all about how to keep our teeth clean and healthy.

We had a visit from Design to smile who talked to us about our teeth and how to take care of our lovely smile.

Look at our colourful Bonfire pictures.

We have been working very hard to learn our 2D shapes.  circle, square, triangle, rectangle.

Please help us by looking for these shapes at home.

We went on a walk to Trelai park to look for signs of Autumn and to collect Autumn leaves.

We made leaf crowns with the crispy leaves.

We have been learning about Remembrance Day and we made some lovely poppies.

Star of the week.

This week we have been doing lots of work on repeating patterns. Why not have a go at home and try a pattern of 2, 3 or even 4 colours.

We have been learning all about the number 2.

How to recognise and form the number correctly and how to count out 2 of everything.

We made magic number 2 potions.

We have been learning about what makes a good friend and we have made a 'Friendship Potion'

This week we had a Spotty Day for

Children in Need.

We decorated cakes with smarties.

We are also learning the 'm' sound. Please have a little go at home finding things that start with this letter and have a little practise forming the 'm' correctly.

We have some new and exciting role play areas in our classroom.

We have been learning all about the meaning of Christmas.

We have had a very busy December in the Nursery.

We have made some lovely Christmas craft.

We went to visit Santa and we then had a Christmas party with lots of food and games.

We are now fully trained elves.

Elmer the Patchwork Elephant by David McKee - Stories for Kids - Children's Books Read Along Aloud

This is a live reading of the children's book Elmer by David McKee. Book Synopsis: Elmer is no ordinary elephant. He is not elephant color, he is made up of many different colors. It is Elmer who makes the other elephants happy and laugh.

This week we have been writing our names and painting daffodils and leeks ready for the school Eisteddfod.
