Expressive Arts
In Year 1, the children have many opportunities to express themselves creatively. During our well-being topic, we will be creating positive affirmation boards, creating and decorating fish using salt dough, and painting beautiful fish patterns on pebbles, just like in our story Only One You. We will have plenty of opportunities to be creative throughout the year.
In our enhanced areas, the children can choose their own learning, where they can paint, craft and practise their fine motor skills.
We will also have plenty of opportunities for children to express themselves in other ways, such as dance and drama.
