Infants Visit the Barn
The barn is a wonderful resource, it used to be little more than an empty shed shed attached to the Youth Centre. The Caerau Learning Centre which represents all the schools in the area worked to get a grant to transform the building, the schools use it during the day, the youth centre can use it when its open and the community get to use it in the evenings and weekend too.
Here you can see the infants enjoying the wonderful facilities every Tuesday morning, its only a short walk from the school, and the walk itself fits in nicely with the curriculum about exploring the local area. As with most things the children really enjoy their trips whatever the weather.
You can see the opening of the Barn in October 2006, or when the Upper Juniors visited the Barn in the Autumn term.
