'Story sacks' are the type of thing you often hear of as a parent but never really understand how or why they are used. This one was made by parents and is simply a collection of props and toys to enable the children to act out the story and bring it to life, as the name implies they all fit together in a nice big sack. They have read and know the story but this enables the children to work in a group (developing social skills) as they work together to act it out.
Working with Miss Hargaddon they can extend their vocabulary, build their confidence in reading and of course have lots of fun doing it too. They can act out variations and alternative endings to the story too.
