Miss Took us outside into the yard and onto the wooden stage to perform our plays. We took our scripts, put on our costumes and learnt our lines(again!)
There are lots of different skills along the way to writing a play, we might have a great story but can we capture it in words and break it down into spoken parts. Some of us are good at some things and others excel at others. Some of us are shy some are natural performers- definately! Our Teacher has put us in groups to bring out the best of everyone, as you can see she also makes sure that we have lots of fun too
There are 7 separate videos of us performing our plays. The wind is blowing; the infants come out to play; we did not have a tripod to hand and Miss is trying to keep control of a class too! Given those facts well done Mrs Brown for taking any movies!
The videos are between 5 and 8K each so you will need broadband or a lot of patience to download them. They are all different with their own qualities- just like the children who wrote them, the idea is that they will help the children assess their own work and give them ideas about how they could have improved them. It might look fun but it is all about learning
